UniSignIn Commerce
The UniSignIn Platform provides advanced commerce features for publishers and creators, enabling the implementation of various subscription and payment business models. These models include paid ad-free experiences, consent-or-pay models, paid memberships, and e-commerce options to sell products directly on your website. This allows publishers to monetize and generate revenue streams beyond traditional advertising.
Products represent the offers or packages you want to sell to your audience, either as a one-time payment or through a recurring subscription (monthly or annually). To create a product, navigate to Commerce
, then Products
, and click on New Product.
- Billing Address: If you'd like to collect billing addresses from users, you can enable this option. It's recommended to keep this option enabled.
- Shipping Address: If you're selling physical products that need to be shipped, enable this option. It is not required for digital products.
- Product Type: Choose whether the product is a one-time fee or a subscription-based service.
Once a product is created, click on the Manage
link next to the product to set up one or more pricing plans.
- Price, Currency, and Billing Cycle: Enter the price, select the currency, and specify the billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually).
- Paywall Access: You can enable or disable the paywall feature, allowing users to access premium content based on their subscription.
To display your products in the user's account center, you need to configure the user account experience.
On the configuration page:
-
Enable Subscription Option:
- You can enter the URLs for your terms of service and privacy policy. UniSignIn will collect the user's opt-in consent, and they must agree to your terms before making a payment.
- You can also choose which pricing plans to display in the account center.
-
Enable or Disable Consent-Or-Pay or Ad-Free Features:
- You can integrate UniSignIn Commerce with a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to offer users the option to either give consent or pay a small fee (this is the Consent-Or-Pay model). Consult your legal team to ensure this model complies with your country's regulations before enabling this feature.
- You can customize the button text and choose the pricing plan associated with the Consent-Or-Pay feature.
